In April we (6A, 6C) visited the Amerika Haus in the first district in Vienna. At the entrance we had to show our IDs to get in. After everyone had found a seat, six marines came to the front. At first they introduced themselves and then they gave an overview about the US Marine Corps. Afterwards we asked questions concerning their work and life in Vienna, their career path and their future prospects. Finally, there was a push-up challenge in which students, who volunteered, competed against the marines.

We liked the trip and we can recommend it to other classes!
