Ireland
Our students in class 6A and 6C went to Ireland for a week from 7th to 14th October. At PACE language school, they learned about Irish culture, legends, history and Gaeilge. We also went to Bray, Dublin, Greystones, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and Galway.
In the next section, you can find some quotes from the students' reviews. These reviews were written after our trip to Ireland:
When I hear the words funny and Ireland, I immediately think of our Irish dancing class. One and a half hour straight –I was so bored at first but then the class felt like 5 minutes. (Paula)
Our Ireland trip was full of laughter, adventure and unforgettable memories! The main characters were our classmates and teachers, who turned every day into a new adventure. We explored beautiful landscapes, discovered Irish culture and enjoyed spending time together. My favourite moment was when we were in Dublin and we ate in Dave’s Hot Chicken. It was the perfect moment to enjoy the trip and forget about school stress for a while. (Dawid)
Some of my best memories were just strolling around Ireland with my friend and taking in all its beauty. Finally, there are a few things I will remember: some of the best rainbows I’ve ever seen, mind-blowing nature, fun evenings with our host family and the feeling of being in a foreign city on your own for the first time. (Lena K)
If the trip had a soundtrack, it would be the song “Molly Malone”, because it will always remind me of singing it together and listening to the bus driver singing it during our 5-hour drive to the Cliffs of Moher. I will remember lots of things from the trip, but the Cliffs, the football game and going running together on the first day of the trip will always stay in my memory. (Leon)
