Between 23 and 30 September, our 6B and 6D students spent a week in Ireland to strengthen their language skills, live with host families, and discover the Emerald Isle. Their programme included lessons at the PACE language school next to Bray Beach, as well as visits to the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Galway and Dublin.

In the following section, you can read more about the journey and the students’ experiences.

….our adventures in Bray, Greystones, Galway, and Dublin formed a really deep bond within our classes. Whether it was exploring every little corner of the cities, late night Irish dancing, exciting day trips, the school lessons, exhausting but fun bus rides, being at the airport for my very first flight :D or just spending time with our host family, all these small moments made this language trip truly unforgettable. It honestly makes me want to replay these memories in my head over and over again. (Petra)

What I particularly enjoyed about the language trip was spending time with my classmates, speaking English in real-life situations and singing “Molly Malone” on the train with an Irish man. It was a great opportunity to improve my English while having fun with my friends and creating unforgettable memories. (Sofia)

The language trip showed me that learning a language can be much more fun outside the classroom. I also enjoyed the Irish culture, visiting new places and spending time with my classmates on the beach. (Yannis)

I personally thought Dublin was one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to. But the best part was that I was able to discover a whole new city alongside my best friends, which was an experience I will never forget. (Mila)

Talking with friendly locals and visiting famous places helped me improve my language skills and gain a lot of confidence. Overall, this trip was an amazing experience that brought us unforgettable moments and gave us a great insight into Irish culture. (Fabio)
